Made this hat and the instructions were right on. Author has a fantastic way of explaining how to do things
The instructions are for a 20" head so you might need to experiment with a larger hook or slightly alter the pattern to fit a bigger head. The instructions are good and the hat is really cute.

I like the style. The instruction are easy to read and follow. If you are looking for a new had for winter this might be the one you would like to try. I like that it looks like it will stay on with my baby fine hair.
I completed this hat in the time it took for 3 Frasier reruns ) Sarah Taylor's patterns are SO easy to read, but the finished projects to NOT look easy! I paired this pattern with Sarah's pretty neck warmer for a matched set...wonderful!
This was an easy to understand & follow pattern. Before you start the pattern, Sarah Taylor gives you the gauge/tension to know that you have the right crochet hook. Everyone has their own style, so it is important that you check to make sure that you have the proper hook according to the gauge for any project.
