Even though I've taught for 15 years in education this book opened my eyes to some new ideas that I can't wait to integrate into my planning. The biggest love I had for this book were the time-saving concepts like how to file papers. It seems simple, but it is something I never have time to do. Ginger gave me lots of ideas of how to get organized which will enable me to leave at a decent time every day:). The book was in great shape and arrived very quickly. I'm always a little concerned about ordering things online, because you never really know what you're going to get, but this was perfect. No complaints whatsoever.
I bought First Year Teacher Notebook, 2009 (Ginger Tucker's The Heart of... as a requirement to a class I was taking.
This book is a workbook for new teachers. If you actually do the work and write in the book, you will have notes for the rest of your teaching career. This is so awesome.
